Life-Size Kids

Recently, I had an assignment to shoot some student portraits for a local elementary school.  These weren't the normal type of school photos, they were going to be used to decorate the walls inside the school.  I took a few hours setting up a backdrop and some lights in a classroom, and we got to play around and have the kids do different types of poses.  The principal had a few ideas on what she wanted, but then we got to have fun and let the kids improv a little.

This was the first time I had a request for life-size cutouts, so I researched several companies that printed them.  We ended up going with Wallhogs, and their quality and customer support were both outstanding.  I got to go into the school a few weeks ago and check out the finished result.  They topped off the photos with hand-painted words which I think made it even more fantastic!  Here are a few snapshots of the school halls.
